3stepIT, a leading provider of circular technology services, has announced its strategic expansion into the small and medium business (SMB) sector through the acquisition of platform provider LeaseCloud, one of the fastest-growing Nordic fintech companies.
The acquisition enables 3stepIT to broaden access to its circular technology lifecycle management model, which has traditionally been available primarily to medium and large enterprises.
LeaseCloud’s equipment subscription platform is designed to seamlessly integrate with hardware distributors and vendors’ portals, providing SMBs with access to leasing as a payment method for B2B e-commerce.
Through advanced automation, an intuitive interface, and direct access to funding with residual value, 3stepIT’s channel partners will be able to streamline credit decisions and reduce administrative burdens for their SMB clients, facilitating access to circular technology without the need to tie up capital.
The platform also offers SMBs a transparent overview of equipment and costs, helping them manage expenses effectively while maintaining flexibility. It enables businesses to upgrade or downgrade leased equipment as needed, ensuring they always have the right tools to do their best work. Additionally, LeaseCloud assumes the risks associated with technology ownership, such as equipment damage or theft, allowing SMBs to focus on growth.
The service is now being rolled out in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
