3stepIT has appointed Pankaj Saharan to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his role, Pankaj will drive the organisation’s innovation agenda, with a focus on developing the next generation of the company’s market leading asset management platform.
Pankaj is a senior industry leader with experience across a range of B2B and B2C sectors, including e-commerce, digital marketing and telecommunications. Before 3StepIT, Pankaj has held technical leadership roles at Wärtsilä, Nokia and Zalando.
Since joining 3stepIT as interim CIO in August 2021, Pankaj has drawn on his experience scaling world-class engineering teams and advising on lean start-up methodologies to accelerate the innovation, development and deployment of 3stepIT’s products and services.
Based in Helsinki, he will be charged with ensuring the company’s powerful asset management platform continues to meet the needs of its 3000 plus strong customer-base, by ensuring enterprise IT is efficient, secure and sustainable.
In addition, Pankaj will be responsible for 3stepIT’s ongoing digital transformation, future-proofing the organisation and ensuring its operations and infrastructure remain world class.

Pankaj holds a Master of Science in Mobile Computing, Services and Security with Aalto University, and a Master of Business Informatics from Helsinki Metropolitan University of Applied Sciences.
